Your Life Matters!

It's been nearly two years since 10-year old Isabella "Izzy" Tichenor committed suicide after an unrelenting battle with bullying and harassment.

After her death, Izzy's mother vowed "to make Izzy’s life matter by speaking out about bullying, racism and the importance of understanding autism so that no other parent has to suffer like she has." - WGNTV/AP News

It is our hope that Izzy's mother receives the platform she needs to defend the lives of chidren that are bullied.

If you or someone you know is contemplating suicide, please know that YOUR LIFE MATTERS and help is just a phone call or text away. To get help, call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-TALK (8255). There is also a crisis text line at 741741. For crisis support in Spanish, call 1-888-628-9454.

Happy Sercey Day!🎁

On this day, April 19th, we celebrate the life of Mary E. Sercey 💝

A "Sercey," in all of its various spellings is a thoughtful, unexpected gift. It isn't generally expensive, but is a simple gift that represents the act and kindness of giving to others.

In honor of all that is good in the world, remember to be kind.

In celebration of Women's History Month and all of the wonderful contributions women make every day, we honor Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson!

"Ketanji Brown Jackson, born Ketanji Onyika Brown in 1970, is a former federal judge and public defender nominated by President Joe Biden to become an associate justice on the Supreme Court. She was the first Black woman to be nominated—and confirmed—for a seat on the high court. Jackson grew up in Miami and shared in her high school yearbook her goal to eventually receive a judicial appointment. She obtained both her undergraduate and law degrees from Harvard and is married to a fellow Harvard alum."
