On May 31, the Prime Minister agreed to the United States' proposal, and on August 16 to the American "final mediation proposal". Hamas refused all of them.

On June 12, the Secretary of State in Lincoln said that "Israel agreed to the proposal and Hamas did not." On August 28, the deputy head of the CIA said: "Israel is showing seriousness in the negotiations, and the leader of Hamas will have to respond." On September 9, the American envoy to the Middle East McGurk said that there is no deal for the release of the abductees only because of Hamas's refusal. On September 9, even Benny Gantz had to admit that "Hamas did not receive the outline for months, and the world is expected to back Israel."

The false claims in the media against Prime Minister Netanyahu echo the propaganda of the terrorist organization Hamas and create a reversal of reality. Prime Minister Netanyahu has already led to the release of 154 abductees, of which 117 are alive, and will continue to act in every way to release the abductees.
